When importing pictures exported from Apple Photos, in some cases the longitude values have a sign error where East changes to West. Photos which were captured in Washington are shifted to an obscure rice field in China. I am uploading an example photo which shows this behavior. The longitude of the actual location captured with my iPhone was 122° 48' 12.072" W. Upon uploading this file into Lr, the longitude changes to 122° 48' 12.072" E. West changed to East. Is this a bug?

The June 2026 update to Lightroom (v9.4) lets you add AI-generated motion to your photos, recover and sharpen blurred images using AI Sharpen, explore people-focused culling, and organize smartly. What’s NewThe Lightroom ecosystem (v9.4) brings more creative flexibility, speed, and control to everyday workflows. On desktop, the new Faces panel streamlines people-focused assisted culling with Eye sharpness and Eyes open scores, making it easier to pick the best shots quickly. You can also bring photos to life with Generate Video, turning a single image into a short video using a simple text prompt. AI Sharpen (powered by Topaz) restores detail in slightly out-of-focus images, while improved subject selection when masking and the interactive Histogram give you more precise control over edits. Custom color labels help streamline organization and keep projects easy to track. On mobile, iOS users can now edit photo location data directly in-app, while Android users get seamless blemish remo
Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. I am using Lightroom (Cloud) on a Windows 11 PC with plenty of ram etc. I have noticed that since the last update (9.4.1) that when I am in the Masking tools that if I create a mask (any style of mask) and make any changes to any of the sliders if I then create another mask of any style it automatically applies all the slider changes to the next mask I create. I have tried to use “Reset Sliders Automatically” setting that doesn’t make any difference. I have also noticed that once this happens that it will not allow me to right click (PC Version) on the new mask just created to delete it. I have to go up to the EDIT on the main menu and then click “Undo New Mask”. This is very frustrating and time consuming to have to manually reset all sliders. I have been using this Lightroom (Cloud) a few years now and have never had any of these types of issues with the masking tool. Am I doing something wrong or am I correct in thinking the controls of the masking tools have changed?
When switching to edit a new photo, these sliders (and probably others) remain graphically set to the last option they were set to, despite the values actually being set to the default for a new photo. Tested on 9.4.1 with macOS Tahoe (M5 Max MacBook Pro)
When I go to crop an image in Lightroom, the default zoom level of ‘Fit’ appears broken.Every other options works as expected. Reclicking on ‘Fit’ does not resolve issue, nor does selecting a different option and switching back to fit. It’s been an issue for a couple months, the only thing that fixes it is going back to older versions of the software. Please adviseM4 Pro, Lightoom 9.3+
So I have the weirdest problem: Lightroom Creative Cloud 9.3.1 freezes every 3-5 seconds, for like maybe 3 seconds. Basically after every click, but not directly after one. It also freezes if I don’t do anything. it’s basically unusable. I use Windows 11 (AMD Ryzen 9, GTX 1660, 64 GB RAM, only SSD and M2 Harddrives), on my older PC it works just fine. I switched to Win 11 in January, but I think I witnessed that problem in December on the same machine, running with Win 10 already I use Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop all the time - No trouble at all. No crashes, no performance problems. Cloud synchronization is turned off. No change if I turn off GPU-usage or not. (GPU-Memory is almost full though) I disabled one of my two monitors. Didn’t do anything. Re-Install didn’t do anything. Drivers are up to date. I’m out of options. Even ChatGPT is like “What??” Can anybody help me?
I’m trying to open the Lightroom desktop app on a 2021 Macbook Pro. It looks as if the app starts to open, but then crashes immediately. I’ve tried restarting my laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling lightroom, and signing out/signing back into the Adobe Creative Cloud app. I’m still able to access other Adobe products on the laptop, it’s just Lightroom itself that’s unable to open. I can’t provide any screenshots, since the app itself won’t open. It’s not Lightroom Classic, but the new Lightroom app.
I have always used the rating system in lightroom to cull pictures. Ever since they came out with assisted culling when I star a pictures it stars others on its own, even though the assisted culling tab is closed and no settings are set for it.This is driving me crazy!
I updated to 9.3.1 today and now when I have the masks panel open I can no longer use alt+scroll to zoom (this was ctrl+zoom up until this version, no idea why they decided to change it without telling anyone but I figured out it is now alt from experimentation). I now have to switch to the edit or crop panel etc in order to scroll zoom, which really slows things down. Why make the user experience slower and less cohesive? Am I not giving you enough of my money?
I need for some advice concerning a complex issue to solve between LRC and LR Mobile (android).I’m a wedding photographer, and until now I’ve used 100% LRC for my work (desktop based). But in one week time I’m going for vacation, and since I will have some time there I though “hey - let’s make some wedding edits there” but… here are issues I’m facing, as the only mobile device I can take with me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab, which restricts me to LR mobile version (never used before). And what I need to achieve is a continuous workflow between LRC and LR mobile - so that all work I do in LR mobile is 100% unified and recognizable with LRC when I come back from vacation. Pls note - I’m using a 20GB cloud storage adobe plan (which is way too little for my work cloud based) plus I will probably be cut off the internet where I’m going. So I was hoping to find an offline version of work on LR mobile to work on RAW files. But when I started to analyze it, I faced the following issues.I’m using pr
my lighroom cant edited , i already renew my subscription but still the app shows notification to renew
After I’m done editing my photos, I will review my edits from the beginning. But Lightroom has this bug where some photos will be randomly rotated. I’ll fix the rotatation. But even then, when I export the photos, some will still get random rotations. Meaning I have to go through multiple reviews to fix the rotations. It’s not just the rotations. Some edit like exposure, crop, masking etc. get randomly applied too. Seems like some are copied form a different photos. It gets worse. Sometimes I can’t just fix the edits because multpile photos seem to have auto sync. So when I fix one photo, another photo gets “fixed”. I’ll do all sorts of stuff like restart lightroom, reset edits, copy/paste from another photo etc. Some photos become unsuable because of this. I litarally have to decide which photos to not edit. Please help. I am being paid to take photos. I can’t give my client bad edits because of buggy lightroom. And it’s very time consuming to review hundreds of photos multiple times. I
I am extremely frustrated with the current state of Adobe Lightroom on iPhone.Since installing the latest version of iOS (26.5.2), Lightroom has completely stopped launching. It simply crashes during startup, making the app unusable and bringing part of my workflow to a standstill. While I do the majority of my editing on my desktop, Lightroom Mobile is an essential part of my workflow. As a photographer and content creator, I rely on being able to edit images in the field and quickly post them while I'm away from my computer. Right now, I can't do that.I've already tried every basic troubleshooting step: Deleted the app. Reinstalled the app. Restarted my phone. Re-downloaded everything. Nothing has resolved the issue. At the same time, my Adobe subscription has increased by roughly $30 per month. It's incredibly frustrating to pay more while the software I depend on won't even launch.I've been using Photoshop since version 1.0. I've stayed with Adobe for decades because it has alw
Hi everyone,I'm experiencing a strange issue with Lightroom Desktop on my Mac, and I'd really appreciate any advice.Whenever I go to Masking > Objects, I select my subject, but instead of the selected subject being masked, the background is highlighted in red. However, when I adjust the Exposure slider, it's actually the subject that changes, even though the background is the area highlighted. It gets even more confusing when I click Invert. The subject then becomes highlighted in red, but when I adjust the Exposure slider, the background changes instead. So, the highlighted area and the area that actually receives the adjustment seem to be opposite of each other. In other words, my masking appears to behave the exact opposite of what I intend.Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a known bug, a display issue, or have I accidentally enabled a setting?Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I was close to running out of space on my hard drive (“X”) so I transferred > 190,000 photos and the Lightroom Classic to a new hard drive, which has a different letter (“Z”). I did this using Windows Explorer instead of within Lightroom as I understood it was quicker and more reliable to use this approach. I then disconnected the old hard drive (“X”) to ensure all access to Lightroom was via the new hard drive. I am able to open the catalog in Lightroom but the folder structure does not appear. The Photos folder is on the hard drive but I can’t get the software to recognize it. It is my understanding that I shoud not use “synchronize” since I would lose all past edits. Is that correct? I also read about using the “Find the Folder” function but I don’t see that option anywhere. How can I get Lightroom Classic to recognize the photos that are stored on the hard drive and hopefully not lose the edits that are already incorporated in the catalog?
In Lightroom Classic I can remove unused keywords from the keyword list or from the Menu {Metadata}{Purge Unused Keywords}. This process does not exist in Lightroom mobile/desktop/web.If I search on an unused keyword answer select it I get the “Black Hole’ message.
Objects under the hidden cursor can still be selected but it is not possible to know where the cursor is located inside the image. I am using a Silicon Mac (M2 Ultra) on MacOS v26.5.1
Where is the "Remove from Lightroom" option in the latest version of Lightroom Mobile for Android? I can't find a way to delete photos from my Lightroom library.

DescriptionHello,I found what appears to be a reproducible issue in Lightroom Mobile.Camera: Canon EOS R8Lens: Canon RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STMFile format: CR3 RAWLightroom Mobile version: 11.4.0Devices tested: iPhone and iPad Pro M4IssueSome CR3 files behave incorrectly when editing in Lightroom Mobile. The problem only occurs with images captured between 24 mm and 29 mm using the Canon RF 24-50mm lens. When adjusting the Shadows or Highlights sliders, the adjustments affect almost the entire image, behaving similarly to the Exposure slider instead of affecting only the corresponding tonal range.Images captured at 30 mm or longer behave normally.Additional observations* All images were captured in RAW (CR3).* Camera settings remained the same.* The issue is reproducible on both iPhone and iPad.* Disabling Lens Corrections and Chromatic Aberration has no effect.* Re-importing the files does not solve the issue.* The exact same CR3 files behave correctly in Lightroom Desktop. This suggests
It’s a new function, in lightroom 9.4.
Pourquoi mes fichiers vidéos ordinaires ne peuvent - ils être systématiqùent transférés et enregistrés dans lightroom quand je le souhaite ? Merci
