After using the remove tool with generative AI selected a bright phantom image appears rendering the tool useless. Photo as attached as an example.

While editing photos in Lightroom (cloud version), I am experiencing an issue where adjustments - including masks - are unexpectedly applied to other images.The problem occurs during normal editing: I edit one photo, then switch to another, and notice that adjustments from the previous image have appeared there, even though I did not copy or apply them.This has been happening frequently over the past few days and disrupts the editing process, as changes appear on photos where they were not intended.Steps to reproduce:Open Lightroom (cloud version) Edit a photo (including masks) Switch to another photo Continue working normally Observe that edits from a different photo may appearExpected behavior:Edits and masks should only appear on the photo where they were made, unless manually applied.Actual behavior:Edits and masks sometimes appear on other photos without any user action.Frequency:Occurs frequently.System information:Lightroom version: 9.3 (arm64) OS: macOS 26.3.1 Device: MacBook A

When I paste an edit setting into a photo, it is pasting my crop setting which is 3x2.216.  But if I want to adjust the position of the crop, I hit the C button to enter crop mode, and it resets the crop to 3x2, which is as shot.I then have to click on the crop ratio and choose my custom crop ratio again.is there a way to keep the C button from resetting my crop ratio? It didn’t do this till the latest update.  now it’s taking MUCH longer to edit, because I have to reset the crop ratio on every photo.  it’s hugely time consuming.

Hello,I've just upgraded from an old lightroom version (6.0 back before CC).I'm happy to see that face recognition has been added, but it feels like it's a minimal version and lacking many obvious features :- force face detection on pictures that haven't been analysed : the pictures that I've migrated from lightroom 6.0 haven't been analysed by this version of lightroom. So all the album that I hadn't sorted by people yet are now doomed to stay that way. It seems to also be a problem for pictures I add from the mobile app and then sync with desktop- manually identify people in pictures : the software obviously fails to identify a human face in pictures sometimes. In Lightroom 6.0 you could draw a square and tell it there was a person to identify there. Could we do this in Lightroom desktop ?- identifying and naming people in the mobile app or web app as well. It's a rather fastidious process to validate all the faces that have been found in pictures, it would be great to be able to do

When exporting a JPEG from Lightroom, you can attach your name, social media handle, and a list of edits via a digital signature.   You can find the option to apply Content Credentials while exporting a JPEG in the export panel. It is, by default, turned OFF.

Hi Adobe Support Team, I am reporting a critical issue regarding abnormally high memory usage in the cloud-based Lightroom, which appears to be a memory leak. 1. Summary of the Bug After a standard editing session with high-resolution RAW files, Lightroom's memory consumption climbs to an extremely high level (over 26 GB in my case, as confirmed by Lightroom's own diagnostics). This memory is not released even when the application is idle or minimized. The only way to reclaim the memory is to restart the application completely. 2. My newly purchased laptop features with intel’s new CORE ULTRA X7 358H, Arc B390 iGPU. Lightroom simply cannot recognize the GPU and cannot use the hardware acceleration. When will the new hardware get support?

This is a question for Adobe and I’m being sincere here. I’m not trying to be snarky or rude or anything, I’m genuinely interested in the answer. Does Adobe think that no one are using their apps on iPad as their main versions of Adobe apps?To be more precise, does Adobe think that Lightroom on iPad is used only as a backup or a travel app? A way to edit on the go, but at home people use Lightroom on their PC?  It might be that I’m actually the only one, but I use Lightroom on my iPad almost exclusively. It’s faster and more comfortable. I don’t wanna turn my PC on if I don’t have to.  The reason I ask is that I think it’s weird that there is functions on the PC version of Lightroom (not classic) that is not mirrored on the iPad version. Like you can’t import profiles on the iPad, you need to do that on the PC.  I’ve been trying to think up reasons why there is this discrepancy, and I can’t really come up with another explanation for it other than Adobe assumes people don’t use the iPa

I’ve made 54 profiles (not presets) in Camera Raw that I want to import into Lightroom (not classic).Whenever I try, the loading bar appears, the message confirming“54 profiles imported” shows for a second, then nothing. No profiles. Ive done this many many times by now, it never works.Ive checked that they arent hidden.Ive made sure to have a file from the same camera selected while looking for the profiles.Ive restarted LR many times.Ive restarted my PC many times.Ive reinstalled LR.Ive reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud.Ive let it sit for a long time to see if that helps.Nothing I do seem to make the profiles appear.Here is a short video that shows what happens and the lack of profiles afterwards. Manually applied upright guides on Leica photos in Lightroom do not stay fixed in place. Once the guides are applied, the photo reverts partially to its skewed state even though the guides remain visible. This does not occur on photos taken with a Fuji camera. 

It’s been happening for a while now. Typing the 1 thru 5 numbers on the keyboard to rate photos doesn’t work. Restarting LR CC works. It’s frustrating because I just went thru 300 photos and the ratings didn’t stick so I had to start all over again. It has happpened before and it’s random. Like I said, restarting LR works again… ☹️

When I use exposure slider the whole image becomes black while sliding. So the slider works, if I move it to the left image is less exposed, if I move it to the right it’s more exposed. But WHILE sliding I cannot see real-time changes as the whole image turns fully black. I am professional photographer so I use lightroom every day, I tried to reopen, restart etc. but nothing helped. I noticed the problem 2-3 days ago and it’s pretty annoying. It doesn’t happen with other sliders though, just exposure.

I'm not sure what is happening. I've tried to run denoise on a few photos, they all turn out like this. That one little square that isn't green still changes if I use other editing sliders. It's like the denoise worked on a couple areas and turned everything else into green disco snow.I'm on windows, using Lightroom 9.2, x64Things I have tried:Windows is up to dateGPU Drivers are up to dateHave restarted LightroomExporting the photo retains the green, so it's not just a visual glitchHappens with multiple photos

Hi everyone, I'm currently using Lightroom (Cloud version, not Classic) linked to my work email pro account.I'm trying to be proactive about data safety and I want to make sure I have a personal backup of everything in case I ever lose access to my work account. I already saved my .tiff unedited files on an external hard drive, and I would like to back up all my custom presets, HD tiff, jpgs and web quality jpgs of all my pictures. My goal is to be able to automate my data backup & to be able to access it later with a different Adobe Lightroom account.Any experience or step-by-step advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The sync popup shows the sync being disabled even though I have enough storage leftLightroom is currently unusable for me. It won’t sync files from the cloud locally or local files to the cloud. It’s like if the backend just didn’t exist. I tried fixing this issue by doing the following steps:Delete more photos Delete permanently all photos in the “Deleted” folder Uninstall (removed all settings) and re-install Lightroom Set star rating on the photos that are not settings Edited some photos that are not syncing Edited photos on other devices to force a sync to happen Imported new photos Pause/Un-paused the syncing manuallySyncing in the Creative Cloud app is working fine.

Since updating to Lightroom version 9.4, I am told that I need to update AI settings before exporting photos, even if I have only applied denoise. The process then hangs, stops completely, and tells me that Lightroom needs to repair, and that I should reinstall it. Having done this, the same issue remains. I have now reverted to the previous update which is working fine.
