How do I turn off AI in Lightroom? every article I have found does not seem to be current and I am not interested or happy about it being automatically added in to service.

There’s no way to “turn off AI” in Lightroom. If you don’t want to use AI in any form then don’t use the Lightroom tools which use AI in their execution. Not all tools use AI.

Lightroom uses AI in different ways and different places. You’ll have to tell us what exactly you want to turn off, because there is no ‘main AI switch’. AI can be used to generate pixels for removing an object for example. Maybe that is what you don’t want. AI can also be used to detect dust spots, but not for removing those spots. For removing them the old Heal technology is still used. Normally you can either turn off AI in a tool, or you should simply not use a certain tool if you don’t want to use AI.
