This makes visually confirming or refining these specific AI selections difficult or impossible when the issue occurs. Specifically: Mask overlays for Select Background and Select People appear to work correctly and consistently display their overlays. Mask overlays for Select Subject, Select Sky, Select Objects, and the new Landscape Masking features are intermittently invisible. The overlay simply fails to appear on certain images for these mask types, while potentially working correctly on others. Hello Adobe team, I’ve been suffering with frequent crashes of Lightroom (aka Lightroom CC, but NOT Lightroom Classic) since November.  I had a busy / active forum thread going but it has apparently been made unavailable ~8 days ago when you re-launched the Community site, which is very frustrating. This was the link to the thread - perhaps you can see it still? Summary: I am using Lightroom 9.1 (aka Lightroom CC, *NOT* Lightroom Classic) on my MacBook Pro (M4 Max CPU, 48GB RAM, macOS Tahoe 26.2).  Sometime around November, the app began freezing with a pinwheel cursor while doing routine activities: editing a photo, exporting pics, or even just being left open but in the background. Attempting to quit Lightroom puts it into a pinwheel freeze 90% of the time. I’ve submitted dozens of crash reports, hopefully you can see them (they’re linked to my Adobe account). I also have two fresh log outputs from today (a Console crash report and a Lightroom Diagnostic log) which I’m happy to share

Does anyone have issues with the following example...  I'm editing photos on Lightroom, listening to podcasts or music on my iPhone with AirPods. The AirPods keep connecting to Mac, pausing my audio, beacuse of Lightroom. I have no clue why. No other app does this. But Lightroom effectively commands audio device despite no actual sounds.

Hallo Adobe-Team, ich nutze die Lightroom App auf meinem Handy. Gestern hat mein Samsung S23 ein Update durchgeführt (UI-Version 8). Sobald ich die App öffne, wird mein Bild zuerst normal angezeigt, nach kürzester Zeit wird es abgedunkelt. Nach eigener Recherche liegt es am Display vom Handy. Ich habe alles versucht um die Grundeinstellung zu ändern, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Wenn ich das Foto exportiere oder einen Screenshot erstelle, wird das Bild mit der richtigen Belichtung dargestellt. Eine Bearbeitung in der App ist nicht mehr möglich. Ich muss zur Überprüfung das Bild jedes mal exportieren. Können Sie mir hier weiterhelfen?  Viele Grüße,Dominik Reigl

When Adobe first introduced it’s iOS import Shortcut for Lightroom I started using it often and reliably. However, it suddenly stopped working on both my 2021 M1 iPad Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now when I try to use the shortcut to import an image from Photos it gives the error “The operation could not be completed. (WFActionErrorDomain error 1” Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have tried deleting he shortcut and recreating it, but it did not help.

I downloaded and tried importing some presets today and my Lightroom Web stays loading if I open the presets tab which affects the other tabs from making changes to the photos. 

Lightroom Version 7.0 Operating System - macOS 14 Sonoma I was excited to learn that LR had the ability to work on local drives. I have used Bridge for the last several years after getting frustrated with Classic's performance. I like what I see in the new LR and am giving it a try. I have run into a problem that I am not able to delete any photos in LR that reside in folders on my Synology NAS drive. After asking if I want to move the photo to the trash I get a response saying "This file cannot be moved to the trash. Please try deleting directly from the disk." I have the gone into my Synology settings and I cannot find anything there that would cause this response. I have no issues deleting photos when in Bridge.  I have administer rights on the NAS drive as well as read/write privileges.  Photos residing on the internal SSD or attached drives delete just fine.  I also can copy files into NAS folders, Move photos from one folder to another on the NAS.  I hav

I facing an issue with my Lightroom Cloud, where the camera profiles are not being uploaded to the cloud. I'm adding these profiles using Lightroom desktop app for Mac, however as they are not syncing, they are not available on Mobile/Web. I've tried everything, removed, added them back, reinstalled the software, cleaned cr_cameraprofiles directory as well as completely removed the catalog and rebuilt it from the cloud. But for some reason - while they are available locally in Mac Lightroom Application, they won't upload to the cloud. After installing them, the sync gets stuck (I guess in uploading...) sync indicator keeps spinning, but nothing happens. .Pausing/resuming sync, won't do much either. Removing the profiles stops the sync, but the problem is not solved.   I'm a software engineer, and it does seem obvious to me that the issue is on the server side, where those profiles are either refused or not correctly processed. When creating mask using luminance range, changing range is lagging (choppy performance) with GPU acceleration turned on. On CPU only it’s very smooth.Please see attached video. You can also see CPU and GPU usage on it, and GPU is barely used (which makes sense, it’s just displaying simple 2D image with some colors).Attaching dxdiag file. Drivers are newest, nothing else works in the background, games run crazy fast, the image is medium size JPG, not even heavy RAW.GPU: 4070Ti. 

Hi,Bug 1)  I've been running into this issue for a couple weeks now.  Whenever I copy edit settings, it'll paste fine onto one image, but if I try to paste onto another image, it does nothing.Bug 2)  I also tried pasting onto multiple images at once and it turned a bunch of them weird colors until I let them update AI settings.  I think it might have something to do with the denoise features, TBH.The attached green image is after pasting settings, but before updating AI.  Normal looking image is after updating AI.-MattEdit:  I'd like to note that Bug 1 is intermittent.  I'd say it's like 1 in every 3 times I copy settings.  Sometimes it'll paste an infinite number of times, others I get one paste and I'm done.

So it says Lightroom works on my device but it only loads in safe mode on windows 11 for me. It is allowed in my norton firewall and antivirus.    So I used the help in creative cloud where I went into the directory yes creative cloud, lightroom, lightroom classic and photoshop are all up to date as the AI asked me to check. They were and no it didn't work as the AI asked me. Yes, I opened Lightroom classic and photoshop fine but lightroom (cloud) still crashes when I open it. I rebooted and no that didnt work either.   So now I am at a loss as to what to do and I cannot seem to talk or email anyone.   Michael

When i edit on ipad lightroom, it's not sync to cloud. Always load to old versions from cloud

Ricoh GRIIIx camera matching profiles are missing in LR mobile, but present in LR desktop.   I'm running the latest version on both my iPad and iPhone, same result, but they appear fine on my Mac     

Hi I have noticed recently that all my raw photos from my phone are being stretched horizontally on import to lightroom mobile app for android. I have never had this problem before. The pics are unusable if editing on lightroom now. Can't fix the aspect ratio or the crop. Anyone else having this problem with raw files, and has anyone found a solution? 

Hallo, Mein ausgewähltes Preset wird beim importieren von RAW Bildern nicht mehr angewendet. Der Fehler tritt jetzt erst nach dem Letzten LR Update auf. In den Voreinstellungen habe ich mein Preset gewählt. Woran kann das liegen? Windows 11 Pro,  Gruß Uli  

I'm using Lightroom 9.0 in Windows to organize photos. I've learned that if I manually add keywords to a photo in the "Cloud" tab, the same photo on the "Local" tab doesn't get the keyword whereas if I add keywords to a photo on the "Local" tab and then copy it to the cloud the keyword appears in both places. If I had previously copied the photo to the cloud, I just need to check the box to overwite metadata. Today I noticed there's a catch: Overwriting the metadata removes all the facial recognition people tags from the cloud version of the photo. I've lost thousands of photos worth of facial recognition people tags by working on the manual tagging in "Local" and copying the manual tags to the cloud. Steps to reproduce the issue: In Lightroom 9.0 on desktop in the "Local" tab, copy a photo of a person's face to cloud On the "Cloud" tab, note that Lightroom identified a face Return to the "Local" tab, add a manual keyword and copy to cloud again, checking "overwrite metadata" On the "

When I tried to import HIEF photos taken with a Sony camera from the SD card using Lightroom for iphone, only the photos with portrait composition could not be imported. I would like to know if this is a problem that is only happening on my device.

I shoot large DNG raw files on a Leica Q2, usually on a 64gb SD card but sometimes 128gb.  I shoot until the card is full, then I import the images to Lightroom on my iPad via an SD card reader USB-C adapter.  A 64gb card holds around 800 images or so.  Whenever I try to import, it takes a very long time, and approximately half the time, it just crashes and I have to re-start, usually four or five tries before it works.  The import process just seems extremely buggy and unstable when processing large volumes of high resolution images.  I am happy to use my M2 MacBook instead, but I was really hoping that the M1 iPad Pro could handle this sort of typical prosumer level workflow dependably.  It works fine for importing fewer images that are smaller in size, but you think it should be able to handle an entire 64gb SD card's worth of photos, since that is a pretty typical (even low end) size photo shoot.  Surely they must be working on this issue--strikes

Bulk rename of videos causes videos to be stuck on computer and never upload. I used the new bulk rename feature and all of the photos updated immediately.  I was left with 39 videos stuck uploading. I left it fora day and there was no network traffic on my computer. To resolve this, I archived each video and added them each back into Lightroom. They immediately uploaded.

Hello,   Wondering if anyone else encountered this bug: When opening a video from Lr on my phone, it loads for a few seconds, black screens and crashes the app. Pictures are fine, editing pictures is fine, just videos. Any suggestions would be great.   I am using a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL.    Thank you.

Liebe Community,seit dem Update auf Lightroom 8.0 habe ich massive Probleme mit dem Maskierungs- und Cropping-Tool (Bildbeschnitt).Wenn ich Lightroom starte, funktioniert es für ein paar Minuten. Nachdem ich zwei oder drei Bilder bearbeitet habe, funktionieren sowohl das Maskierungs- als auch das Zuschneidewerkzeug nicht mehr richtig. Es wird weder eine Maske gezeichnet noch werden die Balken an der Seite des Rahmens angezeigt, um die Größe eines Bildes zu ändern.Ich muss Lightroom jedes Mal neu starten, damit es für ein oder zwei Bilder wieder funktioniert, bevor es wieder funktioniert.Ich verwende auch die neueste Version von Mac OS.Viele GrüßeNico

I have a photo that has multiple older versions that were auto saved in the Versions tab. I recently applied Denoise to it from the Detail panel. Upon hovering over the older versions in the version tab, they're all previewed as if they had Denoise applied.   If you have time to move this post from Bugs to Discussions, then you have time to acknowledge it, along with my two other posts (1, 2) which were moved and still remain unacknowledged by your staff, despite there being staff activity on much more recent posts.
