New Here ,
Jul 22, 2024 Jul 22, 2024

Hi i was wondering why the remove chromatic aberration tool never worked on any picture

Im using a canon 200d with 50mm f1.8

On a Samsung S10 with last version of firmware and lightroom mobile update.

I always have to use the color correction and hope it works..

Hey, @lauriola37718633qv31. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more specific info to help you figure this out.

I downloaded a few sample images with visible Chromatic aberration and tested them on Android and iOS devices running Lightroom v9.4.2. I could not recreate this behavior.

Please share more details, such as the version of Lightroom, operating system details, screenshots, and video recordings of what you see at the maximum zoom level.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
Sameer K

Would you mind sharing a few RAW samples that have very visible CA? Here is an example with visible changes.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks!

Sameer K

@Sameer K
i'm actually not shooting in raw at the moment, but even in this case in your example the chromatic aberration is still visible, not strong but still visible, in a photo when enabling the option i had the opposite effect.
