Hi all
Have Lightroom 7.5 on PC with windows 10
I have issues when I have loaded images to the cloud to work on. Before I work on them the image is good, however if I go to an image I have adjusted, it loads properly ie crisp and correct image adjustments but then goes blurred (particularly if I have cropped the shot). Then of course I don’t know if the image is good in the cloud or not, I cannot adjust it at all, And don’t know if I should save to my personal storage or start again.
I have good fibre optic cable into the building; although in the building it is pre-fibre optic cable.
Would it be anything to do with memory in my PC?
How do I fix this please and why is it happening?
Also – when I use in crop option in LR, it works for the first couple, but then it shows only the last image I have cropped. The only option is to close down and start again – can I fix this please?
Any help gratefully received
TIA
Rob Townsend

Hey, rob_8169!
I'll need more details to help you. What type of image are you working on? Is it JPEG, RWA, or TIFF?
If you are working on JPEG, the workaround is to export the cropped photo from Lightroom Classic as a JPEG and back into the catalog. Then, sync the JPEG with Lightroom Classic Cloud.
Please try turning off the GPU option from Lightroom's preferences. Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom Classic.
Please check this Community thread where our experts have shared steps for the issue similar to that you share in this thread: https://adobe.ly/4gou1VM
Let us know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shivani

Hi Shivani
thanks for the reply - much appreciated!
I use mostly RAW images, although if I use any from the mobile they are JPEG´s
I am processing on lightroom (the old cc) I do not have LR classic, so I don´t think the links apply unfortunately. Do they?
If i open LR and click on a cropped image, then it is crisp but then goes blurred. If I link to the TV it is of course still blurred.
If I export to my PC and then look at that exported image, it is great. If I wanted to make changes to it though in LR, then I cannot because THAT image is blurry.
Why is that and how do I fix it?
If I rename the image on my PC, could I then import that to LR and work on that - although it would be a DNG file ad therefore I don´t think I can use automatic de- noise?
I tried just making a duplication of the image in LR and that is blurred too.
GPU is already turned off.
hope all this makes sense
thanks
rob
