Camera Resolution is Low

How can I set the resolution for photos I take using Lightroom for Android?

Photos by the Android camera app have a resolution of 5504 x 3096 (~ 17 MP), while photos taken by Lightroom are only 3840 x 2160 (~ 8 MP). Importing photos into the Lightroom app keeps the full resolution.

If it's relevant, I'm using a Sony Xperia XZ3.

I have the same question. I can get a 50 mp jpg with the Android camera but only a 12mp with the Lightroom camera. 

I have a Motorola Moto G84.

Please, someone assist in how to get maximum resolution with the Lightroom camera.
