Cannot Import Photos

So, I can't import photos into Lightroom.  I read the other forums and the issue is not the same.  I literally can't click "add photos."  It is greyed out.  Adobe also seems to think I do not have a subscription, but the charge on my credit card begs to differ.  I have tried the virtual assistant.  I have tried opening the photo from OneDrive into Lightroom instead of with Lightroom directly.  From what I can tell, Adobe does not answer their phones.  Does anyone know what to do about this?  Do I just need to uninstall and reinstall?
