I have Lightroom on my Mac. When I use the clone tool, I cannot select the part I want to clone. In the tutorials I see that two areas and an arrow appear, but not in my case. Due to this, I cannot select what part to clone, it is Lightroom choosing automatically what area to clone, which is not what I want of course. Do you have a solution?
Lightroom does indeed choose the source automatically. That is by design. You can move the source manually if you don't like the result. To see the source and the destination, make sure the Tool Overlay is not hidden. Press the 'O' key.
