Compare function on lightroom

With the newest update, the compare function which allows you to view two photos side-by-side no longer allows you to use the bottom bar to set a star rating or flag for both photos at once. Instead it only selects one to rate/flag. Please fix, otherwise that bottom bar is completely useless

The bottom bar is not used in Compare view. The Flagging and Rating controls appear beneath each image and are active independently.
