Hello @Dewa378684766jsn .   I'm having the same issue (identical error message).  Not sure how to address this but will keep looking.

So this is definitely network related.   I turned off my ethernet and hopped on to a guest wifi and Lightroom launched w/o any issue.  As soon as i went back to my regular ethernet network I got the same error.

I'm on a MAC Studio M2 w OS Sonoma 14.5

Hey, @Dewa378684766jsn. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

As correctly pointed out by @Efrain378823786867. This error is related to how your internet network is configured.

Please try using a mobile hotspot, or a different internet network source & check if the issue exists.

This can also be related to how your specific internet is configured. Here is a similar thread: https://adobe.ly/3RCIeTY

Thanks!

Hi,

How do we fix this without using a different internet source? I can't just buy a whole new wifi set up to fix this issue?

Hi @Ashlyn-Jo_Hundermark1999! Thank you for reaching out! If you can't connect to a different network, please try these steps below to see if they fix the issue.

1) Ensure both Lightroom and the Creative Cloud app are updated to the latest version.

1) Flush DNS Cache

On Windows, in CMD: ipconfig /flushdns

On macOS, in Terminal: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

2) If you're using a VPN or proxy, disable it temporarily and try relaunching Lightroom.

3) Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software does not block Lightroom and Adobe services.

4) Restart Lightroom & Sign Out/In: Quit Lightroom completely> Sign out of Creative Cloud and sign back in> Relaunch Lightroom.

5) Check out this HelpX article on resetting an incorrectly configured hosts file: Reset the hosts file

Let us know how it goes!

Cheers!

Noel
