Dehaze tool turns the image black

New Here ,

After the Lightroom Update 8.3.1, the Dehaze tool makes the entire picture black! And on one of my edits, someone's white hair is entirely black. When I try to use the Dehaze tool on that photo, the rest of the photo turns black and leaves the masked white hair.

PLEASE FIX!

I'm using a Macbook Pro with Sequoia 15.4.1 installed

I have not been able to reproduce this.

I would recommend resetting Lightroom's preferences.

This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.

If you are using Lightroom Desktop, it can change your local storage location. Please review this setting after resetting preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.

I have the same problem
yesterday it worked fine, but today as soon as the slider for dehaze is over 0, the image becomes fully black.
I resetted the other changes and try dehaze.... same problem.

I didn't have to do any of this. I did close Lightroom, though. After a couple of days, it worked again. Not sure how it got fixed.
