Edit in Photoshop (Mac) - "Unable to Open in PS" Message after downloading

New Here ,
Nov 01, 2022 Nov 01, 2022

So I'm trying to "edit in photoshop" button. When I do this it will immediately say "Downloading Original" and eventually will say it's unable to open in photoshop.

I don't want to delete these images BECAUSE

1. There's so so many I need to complete

2. All their settings were already applied to them

3. It would take forever to upload and get the exact same edit on all of them

WHY IS IT DOING THIS

My LR isn't opening my images in PS either - I'm on a Macbook Pro 12.6, using LR 6 and PS 24.0. I finally saved out my image, made my edits in PS and re-imported.
