How does lightroom face recognition learn

Explorer ,

Does anyone know how LR learns faces and how to tune it?  Specifically I am curious if when you have a misstagged face, if instead of just replacing the name with the correct one, you use the marker on the right side first that says "No this is not NAME" will make it relearn more accurately .

Best regards,

Hi there,

Please checkout this article to know Lightroom index, tag and find faces in your library: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/help/face-recognition.html

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

Thank you Akash,

This tells you how to tag faces basically but what I am looking for is to fine tune the process.  Specifically what I was wondering is does it matter with a mistagged face, if you specifically use the option that says "No this is not 'name'" or if you just type in the correct name.  Basically I am curious if the 1st feature helps the algorithm improve recognition or not.

Akash,

Thanks for that suggestion, I was not aware of that forum. I posted over there as well now. 🙂
