1. Lr Mobile, Version: 7.1.0 8C2E26/68
2. IOS Apple Mobile, Iphone v.15.1
3. When I follow the instructions to create a new preset, I:

- load the DNG image file into LR
- Press the 3 dots in the top corner and select "Create Preset"
- Edit in a name and Preset location, then confirm

The preset is made, but when I go to apply it to any photos, it wont change anything and the image stays and looks exactly the same. No edits are made. However when I press "Copy Settings" and then "Paste Settings" on the DNG img, then apply it to a different one, it works no problem. But having a preset would make things much easier instead of having to do that everytime.

4. Expected result: To create a preset that changes the look of an image.
Actual result: Preset is created, however does not change the look of an image.

I forgot to mention that I also have uninstalled Lr Mobile from my iphone 11  and reinstalled from the App store to make sure it was updated.

Hi,

If you are indeed only doing these steps:
- load the DNG image file into LR
- Press the 3 dots in the top corner and select "Create Preset"
- Edit in a name and Preset location, then confirm

You will have created a preset without settings, meaning applying it will have no effect.
It should be the same with Copy/paste settings, unless you have any differing edits on the images.

If you are using an image that has been modified, please attach a screen recording for us to verify.
Steps can be hard to follow when written down, since they might miss crucial steps.

Thanks,
Ignacio

Thanks for the reply, here is me following and reproducing the steps. If I am miss understanding something, can you clarify it for me? I thought I was following Adobes tutorial on how to do it, can you direct me to the place where it shows better instructions?

Nobody ever responded. I'm having the same problem. Following the same steps that worked on my Android, but the presets don't do anything on my iPhone. If I did any editing, they will remove that editing back to the original photo settings. No preset applied at all. What is going on here?

Yeah, never figured it out either. I was hoping for a fix maybe in an update to come, but it never happened. Don't think anyone knows anything about it.
