Is there still a $1.99 Plan for Lightroom Mobile?

I just installed Lightroom for iPad (basically becasue I am taking an iPhone Photography course that requires Lightroom Mobile) and was under the impression - at least it is listed in the Lightroom for iPad listing in the iPad App Store - that there is a Premium 40GB Monthly subscription for $1.99 a month. The after installing the app I only see the option for a $4.99 monthly subscription. And when I started a "chat" on the Adobe Lightroom site the person who answered said "We only sell plans for the desktop version" without even attempting to refer me to the mobile site.

Any help would be appreciated?

Hello @snwandy

I see you tagged both Mac OS and iPad OS for your post.  If you want to use Lighroom on your computer in additional to mobile devices, you will need to look at one of the plans that supports desktop.  Plan options are described here: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html

And for your question about pricing, Lightroom has done some price testing of cheaper plans like you describe for certain markets and regions.  If you are not seeing that option, then the plan is no longer available in your area and only the standard plan $4.99 is available.  Adobe Support has way of making a certain mobile subscription available to you, as this is controlled through iOS and Google/Samsung app stores.

Thanks for the information. I am not currently interested in the desktop version of Lightroom and only wanted the mobile version because of this course I am going to start soon. Strange that that $1.99 price is listed in the iPad App Store in the US, especially if you say it is not offered in my region/country. Ah well. But thanks for the answer.
