The issue is quite simple, the order in which my albums appear in my gallery (via Lightroom.adobe.com) is completely jumbled from the order I would expect. I have tried to no avail, all of the things I could do from a "photo sorting" perspective prior to adding the albums to my gallery, but the seemingly random order they appear in persists. I should note, any time I've removed albums and readded to the gallery, they appear in the SAME wrong order. This tells me there must be something inherent to the albums or the photos themselves that the sorting algorithm galleries (apparently) has is consistently incorrect. With no way to rearrange the albums within the gallery after adding them, there is nothing I can do and surely this must be a bug. At the very least I would like to know HOW lightroom is choosing to sort it's albums within the gallery behind the scenes. See attached image for context:

There have been a few posts in the past about this issue, but as far as I can tell none have them have resulted in an answer from Adobe which explains how the actual order is determined. I've tried myself to figure it out, but without success. You could try searching for those older posts and add a "me too" comment with an upvote (if the forum allows an upvote)....the more comments/votes a post gets the more likely we'll get an explanation.
