Lightroom Desktop to Photoshop-layers missing!

Hi all,

I'm trying to reopen a file that has layers from LR Desktop. PS would previously open up and the layers would be intact but now the images are opening up flattened. The only option LR gives me is Open in Photoshop. No edit original as in LR Classic

I am working on Adobe Lightroom Desktop, and Photoshop CC 2024, both up to date.

This is not a bug.

Currently, this is as-designed behavior in Lightroom Desktop.

If you send a file to Ps and it comes back to LrD, if you send it back again, the layers will be intact. If you move any edit controls, however, they will be flattened.
