The full version of Lightroom Mobile is included in the Creative Cloud subscription, so you don't have to pay extra.

I don't actually know what features require a subscription to be honest, perhaps they don't? What I do know is that you have to use the same login account that you use for your Creative Cloud account.

I also use the Android version. But I can say that if I look at the main menu options, under my account name and email address it says "You're subscribed".

You need to check that you are logged into using your Adobe ID for your paid account. I believe that if you tap the Lr icon on the top left of the app you will see that it says that you are subscribed if you are using your Adobe ID.

Hi @Carole5E9E
It sounds like you have the Creative Cloud photography plan, but are not signed into Lightroom Mobile using the same email address (Adobe account) that you use on your computer. Please be sure that you are signed into the right account.
Is this a personal subscription, or a plan provided to you by an employer or school? Some enterprise/education plans may not provide mobile app access.
Edit: I see the issue. You have multiple accounts based on similar email IDs. I'll send you a private message with more info that should help.

Hi @etccdb
I combined your posts into one thread here once I realized you are the same person posting in multiple places with your multiple accounts.
In short, you need to sign into Lightroom Mobile using the same email ID you use on your desktop.
I think you may be relying on one of the social platforms (Apple, Facebook, Google) to sign in, and changed your email ID there, which would show a new email ID to Adobe when you try to sign in on your phone -- a new email ID that created a new and unsubscribed account that's not related to your paid account.
I'll send more info in a private message momentarily...
