Lightroom mobile (upon deletion of fie)

Hi I am just wondering, lets say I transfered my RAW files from PC to ipad, then added it on a album in lightroom mobile. does lightroom mobile keep a separate version of those files.

Example, I added the file from ipad > image_101.jpj to lightroom mobile album. then I deleted that file from the ipad without using the delete function from Lightroom. Upon delete of the file on the ipad, will the added image in the lightroom mobile be deleted too? or will that be retained?

Hey, @lean & leah. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you get started with Lightroom.

Lightroom Mobile makes a local copy of the images in its database & intelligently clears up the space from your devices once the photos have fully synced to the cloud.

To be sure, log in to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) to check the current sync status. Delete the external local copies once the images have synced to the cloud.
