Hey everyone! I hope ya'll had an great time MAX this year. Not only did we have a puppy cam, there were a number of Take 5 activities so you could take a break and let your mind rest from all the amazing sessions. The art walks were one of my favorite Take 5 activities.
This years release was full of amazing new features that includes awesome masking tools and new way to connect with your Lightoom peers via the app! The feature I'm most looking forward to diving into is Remixing and Lightroom Academy, which can be directly accessed from Lightroom Web under the learn tab.
As always, if you missed any of our previous newsleters, you can find links to all of them together in one place: Lightroom Newsletter home page. Are you ready to dive in? LETS GO!

The latest Masking panel sees an overhaul of the local adjustment tools. This lets you edit specific areas the way you want. Access Color, Luminance, and Depth Range tools along with Brush, Linear, and Radial Gradient tools.
Now easily select a person, animal, or thing in your photo with just a click. You can also quickly select the sky and make edits to the selection only. Find these advanced tools and more in the new Masking panel on desktop and mobile!
Lightroom on desktop and mobile now recommends presets based on your photo, backed by AI. Find these presets in the Recommended tab of the Presets panel, so you don't have to spend hours deciding your edits!
The Remixes tab in the Discover feed of Lightroom desktop lets you showcase your editing skills and learn from fellow photographers in the in-app Lightroom community.
