Lightroom Setup/Windows 10

I am new to Lightroom CC, trying to work with CR3 (raw) files but at 100% so grainy can not make out any details, even at lower percentage, terrible grainy.   JPEG show clearly.

What do I need to do to make this workable?  

Preferences?
