I get the following error when starting Lightroom, letting it shut down immediately ofter hitting ok:

Sysinfo:

I get this error on my MacBook Air using several internet connection. Weirdly, both mobile app and Lightroom on my MacBook Pro run fine.

Network blocks are highly unlikely since I also checked via mobile tethering, also logging out and in. LR will show the login screen after logout in CC, but then proceed to the same error screen and shut down after login.

Any ideas?

Ok, found the issue. I was setting up an ad hoc wifi network per this manual:

https://www.makeuseof.com/how-to-create-a-secure-ad-hoc-network-in-macos/

Which was working fine. However, the loopback device seems to have created this error with Lightroom, even when connection sharing was deactived. Removed the loopback network device, rebooted and LR is up again.
