What do you mean by "Lightroom cloud-based"? All of the ecosystem apps, apart from the LrWeb app, do have the new masking tools available.

Hi there, I don't have Lightroom cc I have this version (photo attached) I can 'masking' on the mobile version but not the desktop

Well, nobody has Lightroom CC, as that version no longer exists. What you have in your plan for running on your Mac is the Adobe Lightroom app, so have you installed that yet?

yes have Lightroom installed on my laptop but no sign of the masking tool on it.
The reason I ask is as I believe there are a couple of versions of the program and I think one is slightly more capable than the other : / and also I can't find this feature : (
