I have been using lightroom CC for years now, and I use "people" masking often. But for the last week or so, it just isn't detecting any people, even in photos that very obviously have people, such as headshots and portraits.

What version of Lightroom and Windows are you using? Does this happen after a series of steps? Would you mind sharing the video recording of the issue? Please share the system info of Lightroom & Photoshop from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > Upload as an attachment here or copy/paste here.
