Not receiving invite to a shared album to help edit [Lightroom]

Owner has album and is sharing with my email. We have shared this album before. But for some reason I don't have permissions to edit as I did the other day.  So I tried leaving the album and couldn't. she sent another share email and I did not receive it. I logged out of my adobe account and logged back in and nothing has been solved. 
Is adobe having sync problems?

Please go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact installed version number of your software. 

It would be of help to include your OS version number as well.
