Is there a way to restrict the import of photos to just RAW files in the new cloud Lightroom CC? I main shoot RAW + JPG but don't want to import the JPG files. !

Before you get to Lightroom's window that displays all the thumbnails, you get a normal Explorer/Finder open window where you select the folder. You can select the photos themselves in that window, and it has normal operating system sort options like sorting by file type.

Unfortunately there are no raw+JPEG management tools in Lightroom CC at this point. The easiest way to not import the JPEGs would be to copy all the files off your memory card to a temporary folder on your hard drive, delete the JPEGs from there or move them to a separate subfolder, then import what's left into LR CC.  Otherwise in the Import dialog you can uncheck photos you don't want to import, but you'll have to do that one at a time to uncheck all the JPEGs, and the only way to see file names is to hover over a thumbnail and wait.

When you get to the first (OS) dialog, you can use that dialog to select only specific files (the raw files), rather than the entire folder. Then, when you get to the LR dialog, it'll only show the photos you selected.

What is the (OS) dialogue, please? Having this issue and this seems like a solution, but I don't know what it mean
