Preventing automatic synchronization of iPhone images (and screenshots and videos) with Lightroom

New Here ,

I saw that there is already discussions on this topic in the community. However, the solution recommended by Adobe is not applicable, as all buttoms in the Lightroom App / Imports / ... Photos, Screenshots, Videos are already switched off, but the sync of iphone photos into Lightroom continues.

Secondly, if I want to delete photos in Lightroom, which are syncronized with from my iPhone photo app into Lightroom, I receive the message that these photos will also be deleted from all apple devices including my iphone, which I - of course - do not want. So how can I avoid this?

Can you please help me with my Lightroom sync problems? Thank you! Thomas.

I think the issue is you are looking at the Device tab.  This is a view of your camera roll, and yes--if you delete images in Device tab you are deleting them from your camera roll.

Only when you select and import images in the Device tab, or edit them in the Device tab do your device images actually get imported.

And if you are a subscribed user who doesn't want to sync your images to Lightroom's cloud storage, just tap the cloud icon in the Lightroom tab, and then tap on the pause button.
