PURCHASING CS2 WITH REGISTRATION KEY

Bear with me as I'm a newbie. 
I bought Adobe CS2 from eBay. 
The description says it comes with a reg key. 
But in that same description, it said if it does t work, I have to call Adobe to get a new registration key number. 

I just don't want to buy something that won't work when it arrives. 
Any help would be appreciated.

You should never buy software on eBay. You are unfortunately completely on your own here.

Adobe's CS2 products have been end of life for many years and are not legitimately for sale anywhere. I'd be surprised if you could even get CS2 products to run on your computer. Adobe had released generic activation codes for legitimate owners after they shut down the activations servers many years ago, but even those codes (which are intended for legitimate owners and not purchasers on eBay) got removed quite a few years ago. You might find them elsewhere on the internet with a search.

If you want software that works, is not infested with malware, and can be activated legitimately, you need to purchase from Adobe directly.

So is there anyway to purchas Adobe Photoshop from Adobe outright, with out having to repurchase it annually?
