“Recent” folder

My "recent" folder on my IPad version of Lightroom contains 47,000 photos, which is my entire library.  How to I limit the number of photos in that folder to truly recent photos?

If you are talking about the Recents folder in the Device tab, that is how your iOS camera roll identifies itself.

 

Try this:

  1. in that view, tap the 3-dot button at the top right.
  2. open the menu item Segment by capture date
  3. choose By year, By month etc  

 

Hopefully this helps you navigate your photos a bit more easily.
