Hello !

My Lightroom cloud is almost full, I would like to remove photos I'm not editing anymore, but I would like to keep all the settings I did on it. Is there a way to export everything properly on a hard-drive so I can remove it from the cloud but whenever I want I can import it again with all the modifications history ?

Thanks!

  • Select a group of photos in Grid
  • Click the Share Icon
  • Export As either
    > Custom Settings (In the dialog choose DNG or Original + Settings) or
    > Use the Original + Settings preset

Either should give you your original with its edits intact.  Reimporting the DNG or the Original+Settings should restore your edits.

It is always prudent to test with an unimportant file.

I never thought of doing it that way. Interesting trick.
