Side by side comparisons

Just trialling LR.  Can't seem to find a simple way to compare before and after images side by side.  Am I missing something?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You are not missing something. You can toggle before/after with this button, but not place them side-by-side.

Thanks Johan - much appreciated.  Slightly shocked that something so obvious (and useful) is missing.  Even Canon's free DPP has this(!)

Lightroom Classic has several ways to do this, including Compare view, Reference view, and (for more than two images) Survey view.

Lightroom has none of those views.
