Can someone help me sync my Lightroom CC mobile app to my installed Lightroom CC desktop version? Both products say that they're "synced and backed up", but I'm missing hundreds of photos on my desktop version. I've logged into the web application and everything is showing up-to-date.
I've gone through several how-tos and tutorials, but I can't seem to find a solution... apparently everything is supposed to sync via the cloud but it mustn't be working properly. I've also re-installed both products and made sure any updates have been downloaded.
Additionally, I've tried to create both a new album and folder in the desktop version of Lightroom CC but neither option generates a new folder/album.
I'm so confused, frustrated and disappointed with Adobe today!

In the desktop version of LRCC click on the filter icon next to the search box and choose sync status. Make sure sync is not paused.
What do you see if you click the library icon on the left and go to all photos? Do you see the total number of photos?

Thanks for your tip 99jon. I've just tried to double-check the sync status but when I opened the program it came up with an error and all my existing photos within lighthouse desktop have now disappeared! My library thinks I have 1200 photos, but all my albums and images are gone.
I'm at a complete loss!

You could try un-installing and then re-install. Launch Creative Cloud and go to the apps tab to install the latest version. Everything should download from the cloud into the desktop app.

I've re-installed the program, but only my photos from LR classic and imported from my computer hard-drive have been synced. the remaining 300-odd photos from LR mobile still haven't synced. I've checked the filter options but everything looks like it's set for the automated sync...

Hmm, I've also tried to add photos from my computer hard drive today, but they're also not loading... I can't create albums or folders either.

Are you logged into your Creative Cloud, and is your account up to date? Use the Creative Cloud desktop app to log in. It sounds like maybe you got signed out somehow.

Hi all, thank you for your helpful ideas. I ended up getting in touch with Adobe and they fixed my issue. Apparently there was a problem with the backend set up of my account.
