Why are there color waves when I save some photos? Help.

Hi, I don't really know why some of my saved photos show waves around the sky and sun, like the one below, they look fine while Im editing on LR. Thank you for your help.

This phenomenon is known as banding. It can be caused by over processing of the image. Some camera sensors are more prone to creating banding than others. Banding can also be caused if the image has been heavily cropped. Was the original image a raw file or a JPEG, and is this sample taken from the JPEG?
