Why is my desktop now showing "Lightroom and Lightroom 1"? Which one should I delete?

Most likely the original icon links to an old version that is still installed (Lightroom 6 perhaps?), so the new icon was called 'Lightroom 1' because you cannot have two items with the same name in the same location. That means 'Lightroom 1' should launch the version you just installed.
