Why no size options when downloading a shared album via the web?

I send a lot of albums to clients for event photography via the share option. I copy the link and email it to them.

When you download photos from this link, there is no size option when they start the download so they are getting my R5's 8192x5464 files.

I think it would be really nice if you could have like 3 download options... original, web and custom.

Is there a reason this isn't included? Should I be doing something in LR to resize them before sharing?

Hi @Russell5DB9, Thank you for reaching out! The size you're exporting in (2048 px) is the max JPEG size available for download via Lightroom Web. Adding to what Selondon has mentioned, when downloading an entire shared album as a viewer, you don't get explicit size choices like "small," "medium," or "large" directly from the download button for the album itself. The download will usually be the highest available resolution based on how the photos were uploaded to the cloud. I don't normally share from Web but I thought all links only allowed lower res Jpeg downloads?

(Which many request to be able to make these higher quality downloads)

That's unless you invite by email and edit rights are given?

I export as small files (2048x1365) and add these to albums which I then share.
