P: Export Originals + Settings on Lightroom for iPad

In Lightroom for iPad, it's possible to export an Original (Raw), but not Original + Settings. Why is that the case and is this a feature we could get added in the future considering it's in the desktop version of Lightroom?

Cheers,

Gannon

Sure, but this works right here and now. And you can delete the DNGs after you copied the settings to the raw. I would not hold my breath waiting for Adobe to come up with a better solution.

Clever solution, but it doubles the amount of storage I need and is anything but elegant. I'll just hold out for a more integrated solution. Thanks!

I considered that, but I would like to keep the original Raw file format intact, if possible.

So here's the trick: export as original and export as dng! Then you can use the dng as a kind of sidecar file. You can copy the settings from it and paste them onto the raw.

Thanks, Selondon. Hopefully it's a somewhat quick turnaround. Seems like it should be fairly straightforward to implement, but I know not everything is as easy as it seems.

Try exporting as DNG.

Will change this into an Idea (Feature Request) as I cannot find an existing thread currently.

The engineering team can then track this.
