P: Sorting by Capture Date UX

You can't do it on Apple TV.

When your photos are sorted "Z to A", Filmstip flow goes from right to left. So, to move forward in time you're pressing left/back on your keyboard.

Dan, I completely agree, that there are far more critical things that are missing in current versions of CC, nevertheless, let me rephrase what I saw as a problem:

When your images are sorted as "A to Z" (Oldest on top), it automatically selects the first picture in the library, the one at the top, the oldest one, which is undesireble. You could sort them "Z to A" (Newest photos on top), but then, when you are in Detailed mode, your film strip at the bottom is sorted from right to left, which is also not natural. Your photos should flow from left to right. 

Okay, but I'm not seeing the urgency of this request.  LR usually opens to the last "source" (folder or collection) you had open when you closed it the last time so your "most recent" photos may not even be in the current set of images being displayed.  And it's not that hard to press <end> or <home> (or Mac equivalent) to just bounce to the desired end of the filmstrip or grid if that's what you wish.

With all the other (IMHO) more critical requests pending consideration I'd much prefer Adobe spend time on those rather than items that have a simple work around.

I agree. I wish sorting was much more flexible.
