hello! I recently added a custom camera profile to test out some settings in Lightroom CC. But now I want to delete that profile, is there a way to do so?

Greetings all,

Updates for Adobe Photography products began rolling out Monday night, December 12th,  The updates contain a fix for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for your patience.

Right-click on the profile. That should give you a contextual menu with one of the options to delete it.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I tried but it only shows "Reset Hidden Profiles" option. Maybe I need to delete from the folder? Where are camera profiles located for Lightroom CC?

Interesting. I can do it for some (e.g. those in custom named sets), but not for others. Let me switch this to a bug.

Same for me – can't delete custom profiles and can't find where they are on disk.

This link might help. (Spoiler alert: It didn't work for me.)
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/faq-install-presets-profiles.html

The profiles that show up for RAW files cannot be found at any of these locations.

I did do a search and found that the profiles that I am seeing are DCP files that were imported from the CC sync.

A search in Win Explorer yielded this:

C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\3a344dd2bb6f4adf81915bbae616ff62\cr_cameraprofiles

UPDATE

I just tested and deleting the DCP profiles from the directory removes them from Lightroom CC.

Hopefully, this syncs back with the CC servers and deletes them.

Now I am debating on whether or not it's worth trying to import the VSCO presets since they decided to discontinue support of them.

I updated CR, LR and LRC to latest (2020-06-25).  When I try right click on a profile in Lightroom CC (non-classic: cloud), nothing happens.

When right clicking on the profile "group", i get 'reset hidden profiles' as posted above.
This is on Mac with OSX Catalina

I imported it on LR CC on my Mac desktop, going to Manage profiles, and Import.

It showed up under a group called "Profiles". That's where I try to right click and nothing happens.

Ah, this is a Camera Matching Profile. To delete you must use the OS.

Close Lightroom
Go to Macintosh HD / Users / [your username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / CameraProfiles /
Delete the profile you wish to remove.
Launch Lightroom.

Same here. Lightroom 4.0. If the profile is installed under "user profiles" it can be deleted. But if a custom profile is installed in "profiles" or "camera matching" it can not be deleted. (There is not even an option for it).
