Insert the possibility for collaborators to be able to use the V (selected) and X (reject) flags in the shared photos and also the star rating. Additionally, contributors can't use tags in shared albums.
It is very important that these possibilities are active because it helps to work the photographs faster between the various teams to which the photo albums have been shared.

I would like to be able to do the culling process across multiple users. A couple of things would solve this. Having Adobe Cloud Folders with Owner permissions viewable from Lightroom CC via the local folder, or having shared folders retain the metadata shared between Lightroom with a (multiple owner) permission would be great.

Currently looking at alternatives because this isn’t a feature.

Now that Adobe has lost a lawsuit, we should sue the devs next for not fixing this [insert bad word] software.

New team member just our company recently. We took part in a photoshoot, after which I had to share all my data with my team via Lr Cloud. But as always, because shared albums cannot be rated, we had to spend the extra time noting down every file name and such.

I really want to know why this feature hasn’t been added yet. Is it a programming skill issue on the devs end?

This would be a much needed feature for our in-house creative team.

Please fix! How are creative teams supposed to collaborate? This is essential for our workflow. Star Rating/Color rating enabled now! please

Many new powerful features in the recent Lightroom update, however you still cannot set a rating for a photo in shared albums.

YOU CANT EVEN SET A COLOR (new feature) IN SHARED ALBUMS. WTF?

You just can't make this sht up.

Are adobe developers this stupid? Genuine questions. Cause you literally cannot make this up considering the amount of already posted posts regarding this problem.

When will this feature, that takes no more than a day of coding, be finally added?

I feel like it might be harder, from what I can tell, the ratings are not added to the photos themselves, but stored in local data. So basically they would have to rework the way metadata is stored on the individual pictures on a cloud. I think it would be a little more difficult than just a day of coding, but it is a feature I desperately need.

I'm hoping this request gets more traction... Because this is the only thing keeping me from getting more licenses to expand my team to edit photos and collaborate on shared albums! We need the ability for contributors to flag/rate photos as well as the album owner! It would be a huge improvement! We're searching outside of Lightroom now for a fix for this so please, however I'd rather not have to.
