P: have the levels of the hierarchy all use the same ordering

Years and months are ordered in opposite directions on in the hierarchical date view. This is broken.

 

Here's what happens if you do an interval selection between 2024 and 2023, you get the non-interval (non-contiguous) selection consisting of Jan23, Feb23, Nov24, and Dec24

 

Please fix.

Still feel pretty strongly that this is a bug not a feature request. I think the ACTION, EXPECTED, ACTUAL details make it pretty clear it’s a bug.

Just in case this isn't clear, this is not selecting the first item and then command-selecting 3 more months to form a disjoint selection. This is using select followed by shift-select to select an interval. In other words:

 

ACTION: Select February 2023. Shift-Select November 2024.

EXPECTED: The 22 months between February 2023 and November 2024 are selected

ACTUAL: Jan23, Feb23, Nov24, and Dec24 are selected.
