P: Left mouse zoom amount is always 100% - make it stick to my setting

Left clicking on the image zooms in to 100%.

When I change the zoomed in value to eg. 50%, after left clicking twice (zoom out, zoom in) it zooms in to 100% again.

Please make the zoom amount stick to whatever I've chosen.
