P: Sort by Filename

First, I like almost everything about the new Lightroom CC.

At the moment it appears you can only sort by Capture Date, Import Date, Modified Date, or Star Rating. Capture Date works for me most of the time. But sometimes I like to order photos in an album by file number or name. Could you add this option please.

I also would like to see the filename sorting option and the option Custom sort and create my own preferred order. Both are available in the Mobile app (interesting..) Sorting by filename only works nicely if I could change filenames. Unfortunately that is not possible.

I'm seeing a 'custom order' option in the sort menu after update 1.3. It wasn't listed in the changelog so I'm wondering if it has broken cover prematurely. Anyway, I can't see how it works. Can anyone shed any light?

Custom order should only appear for albums that have a custom order set in LR Classic or on mobile. There isn't a facility to arrange photos into a custom order in CC desktop yet.

I have Lightroom Classic CC. In Library, I like to sort my file folders (ex: FLOWERS) by Filename, but it isn't sorting properly.  I rename my flower files by the type of flower after importing and some files are misplaced in the A-Z order, while some are fine. Seems like it would be a standard way to sort? It's creating quite a problem not to have alpha sorting by filename. I am working on MAC desktop.  Is there any way to fix this?
