Muchas gracias

I'm in the same boat and totally agree with you. I'm shooting Canon and carry around my S8+ along with a USB-C card reader to transfer the RAWs. But that takes a while and then have to import. I'd love to just be able to tether and shoot to my android tablet to simplify my workflow. This should at very least be an option for Android tablets.

We need lightingroom  mobile/ online to have the tethering feature

Everyone is now got a tablet on the go and instead on carrying a laptop / a full computer with me when shooting a studio shoot would definitely come in handy

Currently shooting on Canon I admit the app is outdated but they not going to do tethering / on the spot editing

Only app on the current market from research is Capture one and saddly when ask they said only for Apple which is currently sad as I got the S9 ultra and can't do much with it (cause everyone making apps only for apple)

Sure can take photo then get SD card transfer over then edit

But looking for on the spot capture and edit with a proper tethering cable from camera to tablet regardless apple or samsung

Hi Ángel,

Thanks for reaching out! We are here to help! As you are using Nikon Z7 which has wireless connectivity and offers tethering on your phone via Nikon’s proprietary application (More Info : Nikon's Wireless Tethering App). While you can use that to bring images on to the tablet or use the SD Card of your camera to import images into Lightroom Mobile using an OTG adapter.

As currently tethering functionality is not present in Adobe Lightroom Mobile. Tethering or tether capture is currently only available on Lightroom Classic which is available on Windows & macOS.

Please let us know if this helps!

Regards,

Sameer K.

You can currently only tether in Lightroom Classic.

There is a feature request to tether for iPads but I can't see one for Android.  If you cannot find one, create a new thread in the Ideas section.
