P: Lightroom Mobile export as catalog

Would be a great feature! However extremely unlikely to be implemented as Adobe has said many times that imporvements in the interconnectivity between Lightroom Cloudy and Lightroom Classic is not going to happen anymore. Doesn't hurt to put the pressure on though!

Yes, it makes sense. Considering the number of items Adobe has to implement, I think you need a better solution which is available now. In addition, although many people use Lr cloud as an ingestion system for Classic, it does not seem to fit from a product differentiation perspective. Therefore, I would expect this to be a very low priority for Adobe, especially when you consider this an edge case.

If you do not want to wait, then the best short term (and likely for a few years) is to instead switch to a full laptop such as a Microsoft Surface running Classic and use a "travel cataglog". I did this for a number of years before switching to Cloud.

I take my iPad on vacation.  Let's say a cruise where I don't have a fast Wi-Fi .  Each day I import the photos to the iPad.  I rate them, and make edits.  I select a few that I'd like to share, but since I don't have a good Wi-Fi connection, I airdrop a few to my phone and share them that way.  If I share them on the iPad, I have to upload ALL of them.  There might be 1,000 photos from a day where I only want to share 5.  I don't want, and in fact can't possibly, upload all 1,000 photo from aboard a ship.  Certainly not in a day.  So when I get home, I'm left with 10,000, maybe 20,000 photos that need to be moved to my PC so I can store them on my backup drives and in Lightroom Classic on my desktop.  Currently, to do that, I have to upload ALL the photos to the cloud first, then download them to my PC.  It takes days.

What I'd like to do is export the catalog from mobile, or even better, each individual collection as one export that I could save directly to my PC, or transfer directly from the iPad to the PC.

If I take a laptop instead of the iPad, I will start the trip with a new catalog, import, rate, edit the photos.  Each day, select a few for sharing and airdrop them to my phone, or I can copy them to Lightroom desktop, and share those few.  When I get home, simply export the entire catalogue with all of the ratings, and edits, directly to my PC where I can back them up properly.

Does that make sense?  Basically I want the export catalogue feature in Classic available on Mobile.  

Not following. What is the issue?

Uploading 10K pictures is a fair amount of data. Three likely bottlenecks.

1. Your internet speed

2. Your mobile device

3. Adobe servers

Having uploading 30K images comprising  ~600GB when converting from Classic, and having it take less than day, I tend to think the last one is not a likely culprit.

Can you provide a little more information on what you were doing?
