Import Photos from Apple Photos

I tried to import photos from apple photos using the built-in tool, but only the originals are imported rather than the edited ones. Anyone knows if importing the edited ones can be done? Thanks!
P.S. it says

  • The edits made to raw images are not migrated

Does it mean original images or images in RAW format

If you use the Photos app to edit raw images, those edits will not be imported into Lr CC because Photos uses a different develop engine than Lightroom does. The original RAW format images will be imported without edits.
