missing panels on side bar

Hello again. I fixed the issue with the missing "basic" panel, but now it seems the one that allows you to adjust highlights/whites and darks/shadows is missing and I'm having no luck getting that back into the sidebar at all. 
Please help! Thanks. (I'm on a mac)

You can set them up to manual and you can control the open and close in the preferences in Panel Tracks.

As Lightroom (desktop) does not have a Basic panel, I assume you are using Lightroom Classic or its predecessor. Can you post a screenshot of what you do see?
