Missing Photos from Lightroom trial version

Im assuming I had a trial version of Lightroom, or whichever free version, ive had it for about 3-4 months. Have had absolutely no problems with it up until yesterday. Had about 1-2 thousand pictures saved, with saved presets. Had no idea about syncing, i go to open it yesterday and almost all my pictures are gone. I have about 200/300 only. Please help if you can. • Are you using Lightroom on a mobile device or a computer? What is the operating system and version of Lightroom you're on?
• Did you synced images to the cloud using Lightroom? If so, are you able to access images on Lightroom web? Link:https://lightroom.adobe.com/
