in Lightroom 3.0 on a MacBook Pro running 10.13.6 ,

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB ,

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

the radial gradient is applying a very red feathered color rather than the boundary lines, over the area I am trying to adjust. All settingas are at zero except ive tried a few different exposure settings. I can't get the boundary lines to appear. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

You are seeing the mask overlay. Press the 'O' key to toggle the tool overlay and mask overlay. You may have to press it twice.

{Moving this to the Lightroom forum. Version 3.0 clearly shows you are using Lightroom, not Lightroom Classic}
