Cropping is slow

Cropping many Smartobjects are really slow, since Photoshop 23.2

@alexanderr94277582 The team is working on some of the performance work involved here, and in the meantime have suggested a workaround. Can you try this and let us know if this helps?

Before performing crop, go to Layer > Smart Objects > Update All Modified Content

This should help with crop performance in the meantime.

yes, but it hasn't helped. I record a step, that all smart objects are will be rastered before cropping, thats helps

i use 23.2.2 actual, because with the 23.3 beta it was slow in cropping and really slow in zooming 😞

23.2.2 has not the zooming issue yet for me, but slow cropping too

Can you provide a few more details of the type of image, and how many smart objects might be included when cropping? If possible, perhaps sharing the file you're working on could help us reproduce this one?
