Cropping is slow

@alexanderr94277582 The team is working on some of the performance work involved here, and in the meantime have suggested a workaround. Can you try this and let us know if this helps?

Before performing crop, go to Layer > Smart Objects > Update All Modified Content

This should help with crop performance in the meantime.

i use 23.2.2 actual, because with the 23.3 beta it was slow in cropping and really slow in zooming 😞

23.2.2 has not the zooming issue yet for me, but slow cropping too

Questions:

To help solve the issue in Photoshop, select Help > System Info.

1. In the System Info dialog, click Copy.
2. Attach or copy the info here to this thread.

Also > With this file how fast was this with 23.1 or earlier versions?

Can you provide a few more details of the type of image, and how many smart objects might be included when cropping? If possible, perhaps sharing the file you're working on could help us reproduce this one?

I have no notification of 23.3 (yet).

Since 23.2 and now in 23.3 too. Fresh and clean install haven't resolved it

Does version 23.2 applies to Beta release?
